We are delighted to confirm that the Redruth Brewery Leats Community Eco-Clean Project has indeed reached the final of the Keep Britain Tidy Network Awards. The annual presentation will take place at the annual Keep Britain Tidy Network Conference which is to be held in Bournemouth in March. This year there are four categories. The Eco-Clean project has been shortlisted in the Community Award category along with two other local authority projects.
Fiona Ashurst from Keep Britain Tidy said, “The Redruth Brewery Leats Project is an excellent example of what can be achieved through local people working together to improve the quality of their local communities.
We are delighted to hear of the wonderful efforts of everyone involved in the project in bringing about a huge environmental improvement to the area. Taking pride in the places where we live, work and play is essential in helping to create cleaner and greener places for us all to enjoy.”
